James Bond is back in action with the new trailer for “No Time to Die.” The movie, which is the 25th James Bond film, is scheduled to hit theaters in the United Kingdom on April 3rd and domestically on April 8th. James Bond: No Time to Die stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Ana De Armas, and Lashana Lynch, and fans of the long-running franchise can watch the movie’s first official trailer.
The story picks with Bond in his retirement. The official description reads, “The studio’s description reads, “Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
Cary Fukunaga directed the movie for the studio, taking the lead after Danny Boyle left the project. The script was written by Fukanaga, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Scott Z. Burns. Over the years, “Casino Royale,” “Quantum Of Solace,” “Skyfall,” and “Spectre” have grossed more than $3.1B at the worldwide box office collectively. “Skyfall” earned $1.1B and “Spectre” made $880M, the two highest-grossing films in the franchise.
The creative team on the film includes Composer Dan Romer, Director of Photography Linus Sandgren, Editors Tom Cross and Elliot Graham, Production Designer Mark Tildesley, Costume Designer Suttirat Larlarb, Hair and Make-up Designer Daniel Phillips, Supervising Stunt Coordinator Olivier Schneider, Stunt Coordinator Lee Morrison and Visual Effects Supervisor Charlie Noble.
James Bond: No Time to Die doesn’t have any competition on opening weekend at this time, but that could change going into the new year. The film will battle Trolls World Tour, Antlers, and Monster Porblems at the wide box office, with The Secret: Dare to Dream and Promising Your Woman at the specialty box office.
