Hulu released a trailer for “The Runaways” final season, which is scheduled to begin on December 13th. Marvel fans will get 10 episodes in Season 3, but will have to say goodbye to the gang after the series finale. “Marvel’s The Runaways Season 3” stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Wesiman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, and Elizabeth Hurley.

The description for Season 3 reads, “The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.”

Marvel still has content coming to Hulu, but it’s pretty limited. The platform is launching the live-action series “Helstrom,” and the four animated series “Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K,” “Marvel’s Hit-Monkey,” “Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show,” and “Marvel’s Howard the Duck.” Those four animated shows will introduce each character throughout 2020, then they will join forces in a special event called “Marvel’s The Offenders.”

Now that Disney owns Hulu, Freeform, ABC, FOX, Disney Channel, Disney XD, FX, FXX, Disney Junior, and Disney+, it’s unclear where the Marvel shows will be landing as they debut. “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” and “The Runaways” were the big live-action TV series, but both of them are coming to a close. The Marvel Cinematic Universe shows seem to be Disney+ exclusives for now, and the animated shows (outside of the made-for-tv animated series like “Spider-Man” and “Marvel Rising” on Disney XD and Disney Channel) are all going to Hulu. We will just have to wait and see how the Marvel Universe expands on the small screen following the launch of Disney+ into 2020.
