Sony Pictures dropped another trailer for the “Charlie’s Angels” reboot this week, and the video teases more of the hard-hitting action scenes and the supporting cast. The movie is based on the television series from the late 1970s, but with a modern twist and updated sensibilities. Elizabeth Banks directed the new installment for the studio, and Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska star as the three angel operatives. The studio released the new video on social media on Friday morning, telling fans, “Sworn to secrecy, bound by sisterhood.”

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 15th, opening against “Ford v. Ferrari” with Matt Damon and Christian Bale, and “The Good Liar” with Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren. November is a busy month, and the Angles are hitting theaters one week after Universal Pictures’ romantic-comedy “Last Christmas,” with Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, and Emma Thompson, and the Stephen King adaptation “Doctor Sleep” with Ewan McGreggor. That is also the same weekend that Roland Emmerich’s “Midway” debuts nationwide, and that movie stars Woody Harrelson, Patrick Wilson, Ed Skrein, Aaron Eckhart, Luke Evans, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, and Nick Jonas.

In 2000 Sony Pictures brought “Charlie’s Angels” to the big screen with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu as the three angels. The film opened at number-one with a $40M debut and went on to make over $265M for the studio. The three stars reprised their roles in 2003 for “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” which made $37M on its opening weekend before grossing over $259M worldwide.

Naomi Scott starred as Jasmine in Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Aladdin,” and Ella Balinska is starring in Shana Feste’s horror-thriller “Run Sweetheart Run.” Kristen Stewart is starring in the thriller “Underwater” from director William Eubank, and Benedict Andrews’ bio-drama “Against All Enemies.” Stewart is also expected to star in Clea DuVall’s romantic-comedy “Happiest Season.”
