The wait for new episodes of Adult Swim’s “Rick & Morty” is almost over, and the network released a Season 4 trailer to help pass the time. The big season premiere is scheduled to air on November 10th, and regular Morty and his Rick are picking up right where they left off.
The popular animated series has been away for two years, leaving fans going through serious Rick withdraw. Just like snorting Kalaxian crystals on your grandson’s couch, the high from the new episodes will be short and sweet. The fourth season has ten episodes to enjoy, but Adult Swim is releasing them in two-parts. That won’t be the permanent release schedule, but that’s how things are going down for this particular season.
The last time we checked in with “Rick & Morty” was at San Diego Comic-Con, where members of the cast and crew released a Rick & Morty: Season 4 Teaser. Adult Swim hosted a panel for the show at the annual event, with executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, and voice talent Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, and Chris Parnell. The panel was moderated by Rob Schrab.
Fans probably won’t be happy about the two-part release schedule this time around, but the good news is that there are plenty of new adventures in the works. In May 2018, Adult Swim announced a new deal with the creators of the show that will bring 70 new episodes to streamers.
You can watch all three seasons of “Rick and Morty” on Hulu or on the Adult Swim website, but you have to verify your cable provider for easier streaming. With the premiere just a few weeks away, you have time to revisit the Emmy-award-winning half-hour animated comedy series before the new episodes air on Adult Swim. If you’re new to the show, the story follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
