CBS All Access is at New York Comic-Con this weekend to promote “Tell Me A Story: Season 2,” which is returning with all-new episodes on December 5th. Ahead of the show’s panel, the network released a trailer for the show’s second season, which includes tales based on “Beauty and the Beast,” “Cinderella,” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
This is the second year that the show visited NYCC, and the panel included creator and executive producer Kevin Williamson and cast members Paul Wesley, Odette Annable, Eka Darville, Natalie Alyn Lind, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Danielle Campbell. The event was moderated by Damian Holbrook.
If you’re new to the show, the series modernizes popular fairy tales and reimagines them as dark and twisted psychological thrillers. The new season offers a new set of fairy tales and characters, and the 10-episode second season features three legendary princesses from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella.” Viewers will meet the Pruitt family in the new season as they navigate love, loss, romance and terror against the iconic backdrop of Music City – Nashville, Tenn.
Filmed on location in Nashville, season two stars Paul Wesley as Tucker Reed, Carrie-Anne Moss as Rebecca Pruitt, Odette Annable as Maddie Pruitt, Eka Darville as Beau Morris, Matt Lauria as Jackson Pruitt, Natalie Alyn Lind as Ashley Rose Pruitt, and Ashley Madekwe as Simone Garland. Also, Danielle Campbell returns to the show this season in a recurring role, as Olivia Moon. Other characters include Garcelle Beauvais as Veronica Garland, Caleb Castille as Ron, and Christopher Meyer as Derek round, all with recurring roles.
The show is written and executive-produced by Kevin Williamson alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor and Michael Lohmann.
