Disney Channel’s “Big City Greens” returns for a second season on November 16th. The network confirmed the premiere date of the animated-comedy’s second season on Wednesday afternoon, and the episode will be available on Disney Channel and on DisneyNOW.

“Big City Greens” was created and executive produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton. The story follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green, who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place family. Crickey joins his older sister Tilly, his father Bill, and his Gramma Alice. The show was an instant hit with tiny viewers when it debuted, and ranks among the top five animated series across all Cable with Kids and Girls 6-11.

If you’re going to New York Comic-Con this year, the Houghton brothers are participating in a Disney Television Animation showrunner panel on October 5th. You’ll want to get in line early if you want to hit the panel, and more information can be found on the official NYCC website and app.

The network also confirmed the guest stars for season two. The list includes NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns, Alfred Molina, Thomas Middleditch, Jonathan Van Ness, Christopher Lloyd, Jameela Jamil, Lucy Lawless, Jim O’Heir, Ed Begley Jr., Cheri Oteri, Candace Kozak, Jason Maybaum, and YouTube sensation SungWon Cho. The second season includes a holiday musical featuring seven original songs and a video game-themed episode with CG animation.

“Random Rings” shorts, featuring Cricket and Tilly Green calling unsuspecting real-world people, will continue to roll out every Sunday through October 27th on Disney Channel and Disney Channel YouTube.

“Big City Greens” stars Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Artemis Pebdani as sweet Gramma Alice, Marieve Herington as quirky older sister Tilly Green, and Bob Joles as hard-working father Bill Green. The creative team includes Monica Ray and Natasha Kline as directors and Joachim Horsley as composer.
