Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds have a new movie coming to Netflix this December called “6 Underground.” The action-thriller stars Corey Hawkins, Adria Arjona, Ben Hardy, Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and will release on Netflix on December 13th.

The video streaming service released a first-look trailer on social media on Tuesday morning, showing off the many stunts and explosions that have become trademarks of a Michael Bay movie.

Netflix teased the movie saying, “What’s the best part of being dead? It isn’t escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record. The best part about being dead…is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you no.”

The movie follows six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do. They have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.

This month, Netflix will release Nikki Glaser’s “Bangin’” comedy special; the movie “Wounds” with Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, and Zazie Beetz; the Stephen King “In the Tall Grass” adaptation; the sci-fi thriller series “Raising Dion;” Cardi B’s “Rhythm + Flow” series, the Breaking Bad movie; “Insatiable: Season 2;” the movie “The Laundromat;” Jenny Slate’s comedy special; Eddie Murphy’s “Dolemite is my Name;” and “The Kominsky Method: Season 2.” With the major networks also starting their Fall schedules, and football returning to television three days a week, you should have plenty to stream over the next few months.
