Hulu released a trailer for “Into the Dark: Uncanny Annie,” which is this year’s Halloween episode, scheduled to premiere on October 4th. Georgie Flores, Adelaide Kane, Paige McGhee, Jacques Colimon, Dylan Arnold, and Evan Bittencourt star in the episode, which features a haunted board game.
Paul Davis directed “Uncanny Annie” for Hulu, working from a script by Alan Blake Bachelor and James Bachelor. The official synopsis reads, “On Halloween night a group of college students get trapped in a mysterious board game that brings their darkest secrets and fears to life, where they must play to escape…and win to survive.”
Hulu’s “Into the Dark” is created through a partnership with Blumhouse Television. The show is a monthly horror event series, and each feature-length installment is inspired by a holiday.
There’s a lot of new content coming to Hulu this fall. Season 2 of “Light as a Feather” is scheduled to release on October 4th, and the YA limited series “Looking for Alaska” is releasing on October 18th. “Looking for Alaska” is an adaptation of the popular John Green novel, and stars Charlie Plummer, Kristine Froseth, Denny Love, Jay Lee, Landry Bender, Sofia Vassilieva, Uriah Shelton, and Jordan Connor. “Castle Rock” is coming back for a second season as well, and the new season starts on October 23rd. Lizzy Caplan is playing a young Annie Wilkes, the woman from Stephen King’s “Misery” story. In November, “Dollface” airs on the platform, followed by “Reprisal” and “Marvel’s Runaways: Season 3” in December.
Hulu released a first-look trailer for “Dollface” earlier this week. That series stars Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther Povitsky. The show is scheduled to launch on November 15th, followed by “Reprisal” on December 6th, and “Marvel’s Runaways” new season on December 13th.
