The psychological thriller “Tell Me a Story” returns this winter with all-new episodes on CBS All Access. The video streaming service announced on Tuesday that season two of the show will premiere on December 5th, so fans can set a reminder to catch the big premiere.
The series was created by Kevin Williamson, and the series takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. The new season will explore an entirely new set of fairy tales and characters, and the 10-episode second season will feature the stories of three legendary princesses.
The three princesses come from the stories “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Cinderella,” but brought to life in an entirely new way. The platform teased the new episodes adding, “We’ll meet the Pruitt family as they navigate love, loss, romance and terror against the iconic backdrop of Music City – Nashville, Tenn.”
The series is filmed on location in Nashville, and season two stars Paul Wesley as Tucker Reed, Carrie-Anne Moss as Rebecca Pruitt, Odette Annable as Maddie Pruitt, Eka Darville as Beau Morris, Matt Lauria as Jackson Pruitt, Natalie Alyn Lind as Ashley Rose Pruitt, and Ashley Madekwe as Simone Garland. In addition, Danielle Campbell returns this season in a recurring role, as Olivia Moon.
Garcelle Beauvais as Veronica Garland, Caleb Castille as Ron, and Christopher Meyer as Derek round out the cast with recurring roles.
Kevin Williamson writes and serves as executive producer on the show, alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor, and Michael Lohmann. Season one of “Tell Me a Story” is currently available to binge on CBS All Access if you need to catch up before the season two premiere.
