A new trailer for “Knives Out” was released on Wednesday morning, hyping up the mystery-drama before its big premiere in November. The new trailer highlights the all-star cast, which includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Noah Segan, Edi Patterson, Riki Lindhome, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer. The story follows a detective who investigates the death of a patriarch of an eccentric family, and everyone’s a suspect. The movie is getting very positive reviews, and fans of the genre can watch the new trailer below thanks to an early morning upload from the studio.
The official premiere date for “Knives Out” is on November 27th, during a very busy month at the box office. “Knives Out” is opening one week after Chadwick Boseman and Sienna Miller’s “21 Bridges;” Disney’s big “Frozen 2” sequel; and Tom Hanks’ Mister Rodgers biopic “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.” The follow-up weekend is a little easier, with Katie Holmes’ thriller sequel “Brahms: The Boy II” opening against the animated-comedy “Playmobil: The Movie.” Things get busy the next weekend as Imogen Poots’ “Black Christmas” opens nationwide against “Jumanji: The Next Level,” starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, and Awkwafina.
Daniel Craig is also starring in the new Bond film, called “Bond: No Time to Die.” Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing that installment, which also features Ana de Armas, Rami Malek, and Léa Seydoux. That film, the 25th James Bond movie in the franchise, is opening on April 8th, 2020. Ana de Armas is also starring in a new Netflix project from director Andrew Dominik. Called “Blonde,” the movie started production back in August, and Dominik wrote the screenplay for the movie as well, which is based on the acclaimed novel by Joyce Carol Oates.
