Are you ready Kids?! The 20th anniversary celebration of “SpongeBob SquarePants” continues at New York Comic-Con this year. The network is showcasing SpongeBob and all of his friends, along with the return of the anthology series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” at NYCC with panels and attractions.

Members of the “SpongeBob SquarePants” voice cast and the show’s executive producers will appear on two panels at New York Comic Con in October. Throughout the convention, attendees can experience a one-of-a-kind interactive SpongeBob SquarePants game inside The Krusty Krab. That attraction will be available at Nick’s booth. The network will be hosting a SpongeBob Appreciation Day panel, where voice cast members will conduct a table read of a fan-favorite episode, share highlights from SpongeBob’s first 20 years, and reveal what’s ahead for the group. The panel will also include a sneak peek of a brand-new half-hour special.

Fans of the anthology series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” should be excited for the brand-new limited series premiering this October. Through three hour-long episodes, the series introduces an entirely new Midnight Society group of kids who tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of the story come to life. The new members of the Midnight Society will share what to expect during an exclusive panel.

The SpongeBob Appreciation Day! panel is on October 4th. The panel features a table read of a fan-favorite episode and all the latest Bikini Bottom news. Voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) and Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy) are coming to the panel, along with co-executive producers Vincent Waller and Marc Ceccarelli.

The Are You Afraid of the Dark? panel is also on Oct. 4th. The event features Lyliana Wray (Top Gun: Maverick), Sam Ashe Arnold (Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.), Miya Cech (Rim of the World), Jeremy Ray Taylor (It Chapter Two) and Rafael Casal (Blindspotting). Writer and executive producer BenDavid Grabinski and executive producer Matt Kaplan will also be on hand to share stories from the making of the limited series and show an exclusive clip.

Nickelodeon will also have the Fry Cook Games at the event, where fans go head-to-head to complete food orders in a race against the clock. SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star will make appearances at Nick’s booth at select times during the convention, and there will be giveaways for tiny fans to enjoy.
