Netflix is coming to New York Comic-Con this year, and the company will showcase a trio of popular series. “Big Mouth,” “Lost in Space,” and the new series “Daybreak” are all hosting events at the October event, and select members of the casts and crews are coming to NYC to celebrate with fans.
This year, Netflix is hosting three panels, one for each of the series. The “Big Mouth” panel starts on October 3rd, and will feature Nick Kroll and other members of the cast, along with the show’s executive producers. The group will share clips and commentary from the highly-anticipated third season.
The new series “Daybreak” is hosting its world premiere at NYCC. Fans of the YA post-apocalyptic genre can catch the debut on October 4th. In the series, the city of Glendale, California is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes who are all fighting to survive a world torn apart from a nuclear blast. The panel includes Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Jeanté Godlock, Cody Kearsley and Gregory Kasyan; and executive producers Aron Eli Coleite, Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson.
The “Lost in Space” crew are hosting a panel. scheduled to start on October 5th. Netflix will feature an exclusive first look at Season 2 of the show, which returns later this year.
While you’re waiting for New York Comic-Con, Netflix’s September schedule includes “The Spy,” “Elite: Season 2,” “The I-Land,” “Marianne: Season 1,” “Between Two Ferns: The Movie,” “Criminal,” “Team Kaylie,” “Skylines,” and “The Politician.”
Netflix’s fall scheduled this year includes “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” on October 11th, Meryl Streep’s “The Laundromat” movie on October 18th, and “The Kominsky Method: Season 2” on October 25th. The other shows to look for this fall are “Disenchantment: Part 2” and the YA comedy “Tall Girl.” Netflix also started working on “Blonde” with Ana de Armas, and we should get more details on that movie in the coming weeks.
