The animated-comedy “Disenchantment” is returning with a new set of adventures this fall, and Netflix finally released a trailer for the new episodes. The video streaming service confirmed the Part 2 premiere date back in May, but only released a poster for the new episodes at the time. Now we have a premiere date and a trailer, and luckyy for us, there’s only a few more weeks of waiting ahead.

Matt Groening’s latest animated series takes place in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, and follows the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. The series features the voice talents of Abbi Jacobson (“Bean”), Nat Faxon (“Elfo”) and Eric Andre (“Luci”), along with John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.

The company released the trailer on social media, telling followers, “Good heavens! That voice sounds so familiar… Disenchantment Part 2 arrives September 20.” The animation for the series is done by Rough Draft Studios, the same team that brought you the hit series “Futurama.” The first season is already available on Netflix and was released in two parts. If you’re all caught up, you can watch the official Part 2 trailer below, which picks up after the Season 1 cliffhanger.

The other Netflix originals set to debut in September include “The Spy,” “Elite: Season 2,” “The I-Land,” “Marianne: Season 1,” the comedy “Tall Girl,” “Between Two Ferns: The Movie,” “Criminal,” “Team Kaylie,” “Skylines,” and “The Politician.” So you’ll have plenty to stream when the back-to-school crowd settles into their routine, and when the Fall schedule and NFL football returns to television. Just try to remember all your options, and set aside extra time to try and fit all of this television into your schedule.
