DC Universe is teasing the second season of “Titans” again, this time releasing an official trailer for the new episodes. The series stars Brenton Thwaites, Teagan Croft, Anna Diop, and Ryan Potter, and the show is scheduled to premiere the first Season 2 episode in September. The streaming service released the trailer on social media, telling followers, “Sooner or later the past will come knocking. The TITANS are ready to answer.”

The new season is scheduled to begin on September 6th and fans can watch the preview below.

The official Season 1 description reads, “Dick meets Rachel Roth aka Raven, a young girl with special abilities brought on by a mysterious darkness inside of her that she struggles to control, and together, they find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy to bring about Hell on Earth. Joined by the mysterious Kory Anders aka Starfire and loveable Gar Logan aka Beast Boy, these lost and disparate individuals become a surrogate family to one another and a team of heroes for the world.”

With “Swamp Thing” and “Krypton” canceled, the big series still on the market are “Titans” and “Doom Patrol.” On the animated front, the popular “Young Justice: Outsiders” series is coming back with a new season, and DC Universe is launching “Harley Quinn” later this year. Fans can also look forward to the live-action series “Stargirl” sometime this year as well.

Those aren’t the only DC shows to choose to stream, because The CW has “Batwoman,” “Black Lightning,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Flash,” “Arrow,” and “Supergirl.”

On the film side, DC fans have Todd Phillips’ “Joker” releasing in October, with Robert De Niro, Joaquin Phoenix, Marc Maron, Zazie Beetz, and Frances Conroy. Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman: 1984” debuts in June 2020 with Kristen Wiig, Gal Gadot, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nelson, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, and Tessa Bonham Jones.

So while Marvel currently rules the box office, DC fans have plenty to stream over the next year.
