If you’re a fan of British television, you probably already know all about Acorn TV. The streaming service is the premier destination for British and international television in North America, and it’s expanding into YouTube TV. AMC Networks confirmed that both Acorn TV and UMC will join their sister services Shudder, Sundance NOW, and AMC Premiere as part of YouTube TV’s expanding lineup of premium streaming services.

Acorn TV offers popular mysteries, dramas, and comedies from around the work, and UMC has an extensive library of popular Black film and television content available to stream. According to the network, Acorn TV’s add-on channel is now available via YouTube TV for $6 a month, and UMC’s add-on channel is $5 a month.

If you’re on the fence, a few Acorn TV favorites to consider are “Manhunt,” starring Martin Clunes of “Doc Martin,” and “Line of Duty,” which is one of BBC One’s highest-rated cop thrillers. Another great choice is “Agatha Raisin,” which features Emmy-nominated actress Ashley Jensen in an adaptation of MC Beaton’s best-selling novels. We couldn’t forget “Doc Martin,” again with Martin Clunes, and “Keeping Faith” with Eve Myles. A few other favorites for the mystery lovers are “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries,” and “Midsomer Murders,” two classics that will keep you streaming and guessing for hours. Fans should also look for “Queens of Mystery” and “Mystery Road.”

YouTube TV lets you skip the cable company and gives you access to your favorite television networks. There are over 70 channels available on YouTube, from the standard ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS options, to AMC, Adult Swim, BBC America, Disney Channel, ESPN, and more. The additional networks that are currently available include AMC Premiere, Epix, FOX Soccer Plus, NBA League Pass, Showtime, Shudder, Starz, and more.
