Amazon teased “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” Season 3 on Monday morning, reminding viewers that the new season is right around the corner. With 20 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, the show is one of Prime Video’s most popular series, and it’s coming back this December.
If you want to set a reminder, you can add “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” to your watchlist right here on Prime Video and be reminded when the new episodes are available.
The December release date gives viewers a chance to catch up on seasons 1 & 2, which are both available for free for Amazon Prime members. The series picks up in 1958 New York, and Midge Maisel’s life is on track- husband, kids, and elegant Yom Kippur dinners in their Upper West Side apartment. Her life takes a surprise turn, and she has to quickly decide what else she’s good at – and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her. The award-winning series returns this winter, and you can watch the new trailer below.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls).
Prime Video is also launching “Carnival Row” this year, starring Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom. “Carnival Row” is a one-hour fantasy drama set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man. The growing immigrant population struggles to coexist with humans, and they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. Meanwhile, a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Bloom), and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society. Things pick up when we learn Vignette harbors a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet: a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.
