FOX set a digital release date for the YA comedy “Booksmart,” now scheduled to release on Digital on August 20 and Blu-ray and DVD September 3.

You can order the Digital version of the film right here on iTunes and Prime Video and have it ready for release day. If you would like the retail versions, you can find them right here on Amazon.

The story follows best friends and academic overachievers Amy (Kaitlyn Dever) and Molly (Beanie Feldstein) after they realize they’ve missed out on pretty much all fun during high school. So, on the eve of graduation, they decide to make up for lost time with one wild adventure. The movie also stars Lisa Kudrow, Will Forte, and Jason Sudeikis.

Olivia Wilde directed the movie, which hit theaters during a busy box office. “Booksmart” opened against “Aladdin,” and the horror-thriller “Brightburn,” which may have hurt the film’s opening weekend, but Wilde’s comedy still made over $6.9M over its debut weekend, and more than $22M domestically.

Earlier this week we reported that Kaitlyn Dever is starring in the Netflix original “Unbelievable,” which also features Toni Collette and Merritt Wever. Netflix released a first look trailer for the special event series earlier in the month. That story picks up when teenager Marie Adler (Kaitlyn Dever) files a police report claiming she’s been sexually assaulted by an intruder in her home. The investigating detectives, as well as the people closest to her, come to doubt the truth of her story. Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, detectives Grace Rasmussen and Karen Duvall (Emmy winners Toni Collette and Merritt Wever) meet while investigating an eerily similar pair of intruder rapes and partner together to catch a potential serial rapist.
