DC didn’t have any movies to promote at comic-con this year, but the DC Universe had plenty of announcements ready for fans. The subscription service announced a second season of “Doom Patrol” is on the way, and that “Titans” season 2 will premiere on September 6th. DC also confirmed that “Young Justice” is coming back for a fourth season, and the cast and crews of the popular series met with fans to discuss their latest seasons and upcoming events.

One of the big reveals this year was the “Harley Quinn” trailer, showcasing the new animated series meant for adults. The show is scheduled to premiere this Fall on the platform, but the DC Universe didn’t announce an exact premiere date at this time.

The story picks up with Harley after she breaks up with the Joker. No longer just the sidekick, Harley teams up with select members of the Rogues’ Gallery to enjoy Gotham as only Harley Quinn can. The show offers a mix of ironic pop-culture memes and zaniness but marketed towards the teen and YA crowd. DC is hoping to capture the attention of possible subscribers that grew up with “Batman: The Animated Series” and “Batman Beyond,” enticing them with some grownup words and hammer slams.

Fans can watch the trailer below, which has some genuinely funny moments.

The voice cast includes Kaley Cuoco (Big Bang Theory) as Harley Quinn, Lake Bell (Children’s Hospital) as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk (Firefly) as the Joker, and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) as Doctor Psycho. The cast also includes Wanda Sykes, Ron Funches, and Jason Alexander. Fans have the trailer to watch for now, but more information should be released over the next few months.

San Diego Comic-Con runs from Thursday July 18th through July 21st, and you can find more SDCC Headlines to stay on top of the announcements and trailers.
