Cartoon Network hosted a panel for Steven Universe at comic-con on Friday, celebrating the fan-favorite series and promoting the upcoming movie. The network is also hosting panels for “Infinity Train” this weekend, and offering updates on “Victor and Valentino,” “Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart,” “The Fungies,” “Summer Camp Island,” and other shows.

“Steven Universe The Movie” is scheduled to premiere on September 2 on Cartoon Network, so set a reminder if you’re a fan of the show. A new trailer debuted during the Steven Universe panel, showing off the antagonists and offering a quick look at the upcoming Steven Universe adventure. The official description for the trailer reads, “Steven comes back to earth hoping to pick back up his life with the Crystal Gems, but trouble looms suddenly from a mysterious figure. Steven Universe The Movie premieres on Cartoon Network on September 2!”

As we mentioned earlier, the new series “Infinity Train” is making its Comic-Con debut this year. Fans can learn more about the show with an exclusive look at season one during the event, and we’ll learn more about the mysteries, characters, trains, and adventures. The panel includes cast members Ashley Johnson (Tulip), Jeremy Crutchley (Glad-One), Ernie Hudson (Atticus), Madeline Queripel (supervising director), and Owen Dennis (series creator and voice of Sad-One).

The Steven Universe panel was moderated by Shelby Rabara and featured Estelle (Garnet), Michaela Dietz (Amethyst), Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl) and series creator Rebecca Sugar. Just like previous years, Cartoon Network pulled out all the stops for fans, with contests, games, prizes, and celebrations going on all weekend long.
