Fans of “Rick & Morty” are finally getting new episodes, and the crew shared a comic-con trailer to tease the new adventures. Season three ended back in October 2017, and everyone is excited to see show’s return later this year.

The video features the voice Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, and the upcoming Thor 4). Adult Swim posted the video on social media, telling fans “*Ominous beeping noise* FIRST LOOK AT RICK AND MORTY SEASON 4 *Ominous beeping noise* “.

Details on the fourth season are slim, but the show is expected to return in November 2019. Adult Swim ordered 10 episodes for the new season. The comic-con panel included executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Adventure Time), and voice talent Spencer Grammer (Greek), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) and Chris Parnell (Archer). The panel was moderated by Rob Schrab (Creepshow, Community).

Back in May 2018, Adult Swim announced a new deal with Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, the show’s creators, that included 70 new episodes of the critically acclaimed series. With season 4, that leaves 60 more episodes to enjoy.

If you’re new to the series, the story follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Sometimes the duo brings along Morty’s sister Summer, and sometimes his father Jerry gets to tag along for the ride.

The clip is a little over a minute long, but if you’ve been dying for more Rick & Morty, it’s better than nothing. Hopefully, we will get a firm premiere date for the new season sometime over the next few months, until then, you’ll have to get Schwifty all on your own.

San Diego Comic-Con runs from Thursday July 18th through July 21st, and you can find more SDCC Headlines to stay on top of the announcements and trailers.
