The popular IMDboat is returning to San Diego Comic-Con this year, and guests can join host Kevin Smith for three days of celebrity interviews. Smith will entertain casts from “Riverdale,” “Veronica Mars,” “The Walking Dead,” “‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” and more. There are several major fan events if you’re coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year, filled with goodies and entertainment throughout the weekend.

This marks the fourth year in a row that the IMDboat is making a stop at Comic-Con, and the vessel is a prime spot to catch VIP guests and celebrations. The boat will be docked at the Fifth Avenue Landing, immediately behind the San Diego Convention Center, and it is open to invited guests and lucky fans on July 18th. If you’re in the neighborhood, you can head to the public boardwalk to view the massive LED screen, located on the back of the IMDboat, and watch live as Kevin Smith interviews leading celebrities and talent.

IMDb’s coverage of the event runs from July 18th through July 20th, and IMDb Correspondent Ian de Borja will host daily LIVE streaming coverage from the convention center and the open-air social studio on the bow of the IMDboat. Scheduled guests include actress and director Pollyanna McIntosh, and the casts of “Pennyworth” and “Emergence.” They will discuss their latest projects, and viewers can learn more about the latest product launches from The LEGO Group.

Fans can follow along at and stream live on the Twitch app on Fire TV.

Over the weekend, Kevin Smith and The IMDb ‘Show’s Tim Kash will co-host “IMDb LIVE at San Diego Comic-Con,” a 6-hour live-streaming show broadcast on IMDb. The show will feature Smith’s wrap-up analysis of the convention and conversations with special celebrity guests including the casts of “The Expanse,” “Supergirl,” “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance” and more. Also during the live show, IMDb will debut the trailer for its newest original series, ‘You’re Not a Monster, including special guests Kelsey Grammer and other cast members who will talk about this coming-soon animated series. Later that same day, “Avengers: Endgame” directors Anthony and Joe Russo and special MCU guest(s) hit the IMDboat to celebrate the in-home release of the film.

Soylent, The LEGO Group, Wendy’s, comiXology and Amazon Fire TV are supporting the fan events, and you can find more information on IMDb if you are joining us at Comic-Con.
