Hulu’s YA series “Light as a Feather” dropped a new trailer ahead of the series’ big premiere later this month. The show is entering into its second season and season two is currently scheduled to premiere on the platform on July 26th.

The official description for the show’s new season reads, “Having inherited the curse brought on by the lethal game of Light As A Feather, McKenna finds herself plagued by the mysterious chrysalis on her back, a ticking clock compelling her to play a new round of the game. Hulu continued, “But McKenna refuses, unwilling to put anyone else in harm’s way. However, as the curse begins to destroy her from the inside out, she’s forced to turn to the only person who can possibly help her — Violet.”

If you’re new to the show, the story starts with a game of Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, but things go wrong when the five teen girls who played the game start dying off in the exact way that was predicted. The events force the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.

The show stars Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm, Ajiona Alexus, Brianne Tju, Peyton List, Dylan Sprayberry, Jordan Rodrigues, and Brent Rivera.

You still have time to watch the first season if you’re a fan of the YA thriller genre. If you’re all caught up, you can watch the new trailer below. Hulu teased the trailer on YouTube adding, “It’s time to play the game…again. Who leads?”

“Light as a Feather” is part of Hulu’s latest push into YA content, which is doing very well for the company. The show joins other hits on the platform like “Castle Rock,” “Future Man,” “Into the Dark,” “pen15,” “Ramy,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
