Disney’s San Diego Comic-Con schedule is much larger than usual now that the company is also hosting content from Twentieth Century Fox Television, and Fox 21 Television Studios. Disney is hitting the convention with stars and creators of 14 of its popular shows, bringing sneak peeks of its programs and hosting panel discussions with the casts and crews.
On July 18th, ABC is hosting a panel for “Emergence,” with executive producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters. Stars of the show are also coming to meet with fans, and they include Allison Tolman, Donald Faison, Clancy Brown, Alexa Swinton, Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr. and Zabryna Guevar.
Fans will get a first look at the pilot episode of ABC‘s new drama series, followed by a panel discussion. This character-driven genre thriller follows a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all.
Following the “Emergence” panel is “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” from ABC. This is the first year that the show is hosting a panel in Hall H, so it’s probably going to be a big one. The network will reveal details on the conclusion of season six and tease the upcoming seventh season. The panel’s stars include Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Jeff Ward, along with executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, Jeff Bell, and Jeph Loeb.

Based on the “Stumptown” graphic novel, the new drama series follows Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders) – a strong, assertive and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt and a brother to take care of in Portland, Oregon. Her military intelligence skills make her a great PI, but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and not quite in alliance with the police. Panelists for the event include cast members Cobie Smulders, Jake Johnson, Michael Ealy, Camryn Manheim, Tantoo Cardinal, Cole Sibus and Adrian Martinez, with executive producer Jason Richman and “Stumptown” graphic novel author Greg Rucka.
On Friday, fans can look for the “Bless the Harts” panel, from 20th Century Fox Television. In the half-hour comedy, Jenny Hart (Kristen Wiig) supports her lottery scratcher-obsessed mother, Betty (Maya Rudolph), and her witty, creative daughter, Violet (Jillian Bell). With the help of her eternally optimistic, dreamer boyfriend Wayne (Ike Barinholtz), they hope to one day achieve the American dream. While they are always struggling to make ends meet, they’re already rich in friends, family and laughter. The network is hosting a first look at the animated-series with executive producers, Emily Spivey, Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and the cast.
Following the Harts is “Solar Opposites,” from 20th Century Fox Television. The animated-series follows a family of aliens “from a better world” who take refuge in middle America. Join Justin Roiland, Sean Giambrone, and Mary Mack, along with executive producers Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel, for an exclusive first look at the series premiering in 2020 on Hulu.
The big “Bob’s Burgers” panel is the same night, and the panel includes creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard and executive producer Nora Smith. Cast members H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Larry Murphy, and Megan Mullally will also be in attendance.
Following “Bob’s Burgers” is “What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage.” The panel brings Fred, Shiri Appleby, Kevin Zegers, Tyler Ritter, and co-creators Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser and director Jon Cassar to the stage for a sneak-peek screening of the fourth episode.
“The Rookie” is hosting a panel as well with series star and executive producer Nathan Fillion. Joining Nathan on stage will be Alexi Hawley. The two collaborators will also reflect on Nathan’s overarching career, spanning from “Firefly” to Shakespeare, and now, playing the oldest rookie in the LAPD.
FOX’s series “neXt” is hosting a world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con. The fact-based thriller follows the emergence of a deadly, rogue artificial intelligence. Coming to FOX in 2020, “neXt” stars John Slattery and Fernanda Andrade. Panelists include creator and executive producer Manny Coto, executive producers and directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, Fernanda Andrade, Michael Mosley, Jason Butler Harner, and Eve Harlow.
