Warner Bros. Pictures’ “The Conjuring” universe is back at the box office this weekend, opening against the comedy “Yesterday” from Universal Pictures. On paper, “Annabelle Comes Home” had an easy weekend, then Disney surprised fans with a re-release of “Avengers: Endgame,” and “Toy Story 4” had a massive follow-up week in theaters.

The next few weeks won’t be any easier for “Annabelle Comes Home.” Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home” opens nationwide on July 2nd, followed by A24’s horror-thriller “Midsommar” on July 3rd. The following week is the debut of the action-comedy “Stuber,” and the thriller “Crawl.” The big releases at the end of the month are Disney’s live-action “The Lion King” remake, followed by Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
