TBS outlined the network’s plan for San Diego Comic-Con this year. The highly anticipated sci-fi thriller “Snowpiercer” is coming to the event, and TBS is hosting a panel with stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, Steven Ogg, and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson.

The network is hosting a panel for the show in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. The special event will include an exclusive first look at the series premiere, which will debut in Spring of 2020 on TBS.

If you’re new to the story, “Snowpiercer” is set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland. The show centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. TBS describes the story adding, “Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie of the same name.”

Earlier this week TBS confirmed, “Snowpiercer: Season 2,” as the show was renewed prior to the season one premiere.

As we mentioned earlier, the panelists include stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, Steven Ogg, and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson. The moderator for the panel is Entertainment Weekly’s Clark Collis, and other attendees include executive producers Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios.

Tomorrow Studios produce “Snowpiercer,” a joint venture between Marty Adelstein and ITV Studios, along with CJ Entertainment, who produced the original film.

The series is executive produced by Tomorrow Studios’ Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements, and the showrunner is Graeme Manson, who wrote the first episode. James Hawes and Matthew O’Connor direct, with Scott Derrickson, and the original film’s producers Bong Joon Ho, Miky Lee, Tae-sung Jeong, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi.
