We are only a few short weeks away from “Stranger Things 3,” and Netflix released a new trailer to keep us excited for the new episodes. The video marks the third trailer that the platform released for the third season, which is scheduled to debut on July 4th.
Earlier this year Netflix released the episode titles for the new season, which include “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite” and “The Battle of Starcourt.” As you can see, the mall comes up twice in the titles, and the new video also includes the standout location.
“Stranger Things” stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery. The series is created by the Duffer Brothers, who serve as executive producers with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps, and Iain Paterson.
Netflix’s official description for the new season reads, “It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart.” Netflix added, “Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”
Fans can set a reminder to catch the new episodes on July 4th, and you can start filtering out any Stranger Things keywords from your social media profiles to avoid any spoilers.
