Daniel Radcliffe fans should set a reminder for the new “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” interactive special. Netflix confirmed Radcliffe’s appearance on the project, which is set to release next year.

In the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” interactive special, Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper) sets off on her biggest adventure yet. Netflix described the event saying, “Three states! Explosions! A dancing hamburger! And you, the viewer, get to decide how the story goes. Will you foil the Reverend’s (Jon Hamm) evil plan and get Kimmy to her wedding on time? Or will you accidentally start a war against the robots? So grab your remote and a tray of delicious scrod, ‘cause Kimmy’s got her own Netflix interactive special!”

Netflix announced the special back in May during the FYSEE panel in New York City. At the event, Tina Fey explained the interactive special to guests adding, “We’re thrilled to announce that we’re about to start production on an all-new Interactive Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt special, set to debut on Netflix in 2020. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the first original comedy series on Netflix, and now it will be its first interactive comedy event.” Fey added, “Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series.”

Tina Fey and Robert Carlock serve as creators on the show; they also serve as executive producers with Jeff Richmond, Sam Means, and David Miner.

During its run, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” earned 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series for each of its seasons. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a production of Universal Television, Little Stranger, Inc., Bevel Gears, and 3 Arts Entertainment for Netflix.

Netflix stopped short of announcing a premiere date at this time, other than the 2020 launch window, but more information should be announced over the next few moths.
