The E3 Gaming Expo launches in just a few days, and Ubisoft is celebrating with a platform-wide sale on “The Division 2” for a limited time. New players can save up to 40% off on “Tom Clancy’s The Division 2,” whether you play on PC, PS4, or the Xbox One. The news comes just a few hours after Google announced that “Division 2” will launch on the Stadia gaming platform.
The promotion begins today and runs through June 24th. The open-world online shooter RPG was well received when it launched, and there have been several updates to the mechanics of the game since day one. Set seven months after a deadly virus was released in New York City, the game brings players into a fractured and collapsing Washington D.C. The world is on the brink, and its people are living through the biggest crisis ever faced in human history.
Players take on the role of veteran Division agents in the story, and they are last hope against the complete fall of society as enemy factions vie for control of the city. If Washington D.C. is lost, the entire nation falls.
If you prefer to play on PS4 or the Xbox, the Standard Edition of The Division is 40% off. For PC players, the sale is 33% off the game. You can find the game on sale right here on Amazon. PC players can grab the game through the Ubisoft game launcher.
Summer is usually the doldrums of the game release schedule, and it’s a great time to pick up the titles that might have had you on the fence. “The Division” is an open world game that is still getting new content and should help you past the time when the temperatures make it too unbearable to go outside over the next few weeks.
