Netflix is heating up the summer with a new “Stranger Things 3” video. The tagline Netflix is using for the third installment is “One summer can change everything,” and something is undoubtedly coming to Hawkins, Indiana in a few weeks. The new video focuses on a new location, the local community pool, which is Decked out with ‘New Coke,’ sexy lifeguards and slow-motion shots. There are also plenty of 80s throwbacks to find during the video, so grab your SPF and blow your whistle.

Netflix released the episode titles for season 3 back in 2018, they include “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite” and “The Battle of Starcourt.” The mall comes up twice in the titles, so it’s probably the big location this time around. Sorry pool.

“Stranger Things” stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, and Dacre Montgomery. The series is created by the Duffer Brothers, who serve as executive producers with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps, and Iain Paterson.

Netflix teased the new video on social media adding, “It’s summertime in Hawkins, Indiana. Stranger Things 3 premieres July 4.”

Only a few more weeks of waiting remain for the show’s big return to Netflix. Fans can set a reminder to catch the new episodes in July. As a PSA, remember to keep your pets inside during the fireworks over the holiday weekend, since it’s quite scary for them. As for you, “Stranger Things” is usually scary enough, so plan to keep each other company.
