Netflix started the day with a trailer and premiere date for “Black Mirror: Season 5.” The anthology series is releasing new episodes on the platform in June, and you can watch the first-look trailer below for hints about the new stories.

The official premiere date is June 5th for the new episodes, and at least one of them features Miley Cyrus. Other stars include Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, and Ludi Lin. There will only be three episodes in the new season, a bummer I know, but at least the show’s coming back. Netflix teased the episode total on social media, telling followers, “Three new stories about the future we should have seen coming. Black Mirror returns June 5th.”

The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones. Fans of the long-running anthology series can watch the first trailer for the new season below.

Netflix describes Black Mirror as “an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia.” The platform continued, “Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us.”

If you want to set a reminder, “Black Mirror” Season 5 launches on June 5th on Netflix. You can always take another trip through “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” if you can’t wait until June.
