After being chopped down by FOX, “Lucifer” has risen again and is currently ready to launch on Netflix. The platform released a Season 4 trailer for fans of the show on Thursday morning, teasing the new sinful adventures of the anti-hero. There’s plenty to take in when watching the new trailer, and fans should be excited to see Lucifer returning with all-new episodes, it was after-all, the fans that saved the show.

Netflix confirmed the release date for the new season earlier this month, but this is the first official trailer that the video-streaming service has released for the season. As we mentioned earlier, the drama originally aired on FOX before being canceled, but the new Netflix season is set to debut on Netflix starting on May 8th.

Netflix described the new season on social media adding: “Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago … or something else entirely?”

“Lucifer” stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Maze, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin.

The new season will add some new faces, including Inbar Lavi as Eve and Graham McTavish as Father Kinley. Fans of the show can watch the official trailer below. Netflix hasn’t confirmed yet if there will be any new episodes past this season, but if the show’s a hit, it could continue or possibly get a Netflix Original Movie in the future.

If you need to set a reminder, “Lucifer” Season 4 launches on May 8th on Netflix.
