MGM released the second trailer for “The Hustle,” a film starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. The comedy is a gender-flipped “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and is hitting theaters on May 10th. This is the second trailer that the studio has released for the film, the first released back in February to coincide with the launch of Wilson’s romantic-comedy “Isn’t it Romantic.”

In the story, Hathaway and Wilson star as female scam artists, one low rent and the other high class, who team up to take down the terrible men who have wronged them. It’s a slightly different premise than Frank Oz’s “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” which starred Steve Martin, Michael Caine, and Glenne Headly.

Chris Addison directed the new comedy, working from a screenplay written by Stanley Shapiro & Paul Henning and Dale Launer and Jac Schaeffer.

The film is opening two-weeks after “Avengers: Endgame,” which gives the comedy a nice buffer, but there are a lot of films on the schedule that month. “The Hustle” is opening against “Detective Pikachu” and STX’s “Poms” with Diane Keaton, Pam Grier, Jacki Weaver, Bruce McGill, and Rhea Perlman. At the specialty box office, Kenneth Branagh’s “All Is True” is opening against Neon’s “Biggest Little Farm” and “Tolkien” starring Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins. There’s something for everyone in May, and we will have to wait and see which of the films rises to the top of the domestic charts.

The following weekend won’t be any easier for “The Hustle,” as the film will have to battle “A Dog’s Journey,” “John Wick 3” with Keanu Reeves, and “The Sun is Also a Star” from Warner Bros. Pictures.

If you want to set a reminder, “The Hustle” opens in theaters on May 10th.
