The Angels are on the case in the latest “Charlie’s Angels’ image shared by Sony Pictures. Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska stand with director and fellow co-star Elizabeth Banks in the most recent promotional image for the film, which is hitting theaters this fall.

The studio explained that in the new film, Charlie’s Angels has expanded internationally, with the smartest, most fearless, most highly trained women all over the globe. There are multiple teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs across the world. The story picks up when a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology; the Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all.

The screenplay is by Elizabeth Banks from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn. Sony Pictures also confirmed that “Charlie’s Angels” will release on November 15th. That release date puts the film against “Ford v. Ferrari” with Matt Damon and Christian Bale, and “The Good Liar” with Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren. Universal Pictures is also releasing a romantic-comedy from Paul Feig called “Last Christmas,” with Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, and Emma Thompson.

In 2000 Sony Pictures brought “Charlie’s Angels” to the big screen with Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu as the three angels. The film opened at number-one with a $40M debut and went on to make over $265M for the studio. The three stars returned to their roles in 2003 for “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” which made $37M on its opening weekend before grossing over $259M worldwide.

Elizabeth Banks is also starring in Sony Pictures’ “Brightburn,” a superhero horror-thriller from producer James Gunn. That film is releasing in theaters on May 24th against Brad Pitt’s “Ad Astra” and “Disney’s Aladdin.” That is also the same weekend that “Booksmart,” from director Olivia Wilde, hits theaters nationwide.
