Bethesda released “The Elder Scrolls: Blades” to the masses. The mobile RPG was available to a selected few over the past few weeks, but now everyone can test out the latest installment to the Elder Scrolls franchise.
Bethesda announced the wide-release of the game on social media telling followers, “The gates to The Elder Scrolls: #Blades are opening further. Excited to say that anyone with a Bethesda net account can now play.”
The company continued, “Next up: We’re looking at all your feedback and rebalancing the most difficult enemy in the game… the silver chest.”
If you don’t have a Bethesda account, you can make one pretty quickly. There’s no charge to creating an account and with a moment to spare should be able to jump into the RPG whenever they wish.
The company is currently celebrating twenty-five years of “The Elder Scrolls.” The company’s MMORPG, “The Elder Scrolls Online,” has been the main installment to the series for the past few years. The publisher does have plans to release a follow-up to “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,” which
released in 2011, but details are slim.
The new release is going by the name “The Elder Scrolls VI” for now, and the company is keeping the game’s setting and other details under lock and key.
Bethesda did release a thirty-second announcement trailer for “The Elder Scrolls 6,” which only confirmed the title and a sprawling landscape of castles, mountains, the sea, and a few birds. At the time of the announcement, Bethesda teased fans adding, “Currently in pre-production at Bethesda Game Studios, the acclaimed developers of Skyrim and Fallout 4. The highly-anticipated next chapter in the iconic The Elder Scrolls series.”
Fans will have to wait a little longer for more “The Elder Scrolls VI” information, but they can load up “The Elder Scrolls Blades” on their mobile platform of choice and slash their way through the land.
