Sony is making a significant push into VR this fall, releasing a wide array of titles for the popular PSVR. One of the big ports is “No Man’s Sky,” which is shipping with all the extras and updates. Over a dozen new games were teased during Sony’s State of Play press event on Monday evening, previewing an eclectic mix of older and newer titles for all demos.

Sony confirmed that over 4.2M PSVR systems were sold worldwide as of March 3, 2019. Sony’s PSVR headset is one of the most popular VR options on the market, and one of the most cost-efficient. The PSVR system works with the PS4, and the headset and camera are often bundled together with games starting under $300. A bundle right here on Amazon includes the VR headset, the camera needed, and a copy of “Astro Bot” and “Moss” for just $249.

As we mentioned earlier, one of the big announcements tonight was that “No Man’s Sky” is headed to PSVR. The first-person space-explorer is a perfect match for the system, and the PSVR version will include the standard game and the upcoming “NEXT” update. Another big title came from the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s Iron Man VR” will hit the system this year, though Sony stopped short of confirming the release date.

“Five Nights At Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted” was another big title that was confirmed tonight. The VR installment is expected to ship this spring, and the game is a collection of classic and mini-games set in the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe. Players will find familiar locations while they try to survive and play through the game.

“Skyworld” the RTS/TBS wargame is another title releasing on the PSVR. That title has a firm release date, hitting PSVR on March 26th. If you missed the big State of Play event, you can watch the announcements and trailers that were shown in the video below.

If you love thrillers, looks for No Code’s VR space-thriller “Observation.” The game is set to launch on May 21st and players have to help the remaining crew of a space-station find out what happened to their comrades. The big twist? You are the space-station.
