“Suspiria” released in theaters back in October 2018 at a time when “Halloween,” “A Star is Born,” and “Venom” were dominating the box office. The film made $184K in just two locations on opening weekend before grossing over $7.5M worldwide. Luca Guadagnino directed the film, which stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Lutz Ebersdorf, Jessica Harper, and ChloĆ« Grace Moretz.

The story centers on a world-renowned dance company, one that slowly engulfs the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). The studio teased the film adding, “Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.”

“Suspiria” holds a 66% rating on RottenTomatoes, with a 69% rating with audiences.

Dakota Johnson is currently filming the drama “The Friend” with Gwendoline Christie and Jason Segel. Gabriela Cowperthwaite is directing that film, working from a script written by Brad Ingelsby. Swinton will star in “The Souvenir” with Richard Ayoade and Tom Burke from director Joanna Hogg. That film is a mystery romantic-drama, based on a screenplay written by Hogg. ChloĆ« Grace Moretz recently starred in Neil Jordan’s thriller “Greta” with Isabelle Huppert and Maika Monroe. That film made $4.4M across 2,411 locations before grossing over $10.8M worldwide for the studio.
