Netflix released the first official trailer for “Santa Clarita Diet Season 3” this morning. The new episodes are scheduled to debut on Netflix on March 29th and fans of the show can catch up with Sheila and Joel’s new adventures in the video. Netflix teased the new video asking “True love never dies?”. The ominous question could mean that things are going to get worse for Joel, but we will have to wait until the new episodes launch later this month to find out.

If you’re new to the series, “Santa Clarita Diet” follows married couple Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore). The duo play husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson). Things pick up after Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction in the most bizarre way possible.

The series has been a hit on Netflix for the past two seasons and has been praised by both fans and critics. The show currently sits with an 81% ratings on RottenTomatoes, with an audience score of 87%. Fans of the show can set a reminder to catch the new episodes when they debut on March 29th.

Drew Barrymore is producing and starring in the upcoming movie “The Stand-In,” alongside stars Charlie Barnett, Michael Zegen, and John W. Lawson. In the story, a comedy actress and her stand-in trade places.

Timothy Olyphant has also been busy lately. The actor is set to appear in the Quentin Tarantino movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” with Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brad Pitt. Olyphant also voiced a role in the animated-comedy “The Missing Link,” which is scheduled to release this week. Olyphant will reprise his role in the upcoming HBO movie “Deadwood” alongside Ian McShane, Brad Dourif, Kim Dickens, Sean Bridgers, Molly Parker, Anna Gunn, Paula Malcomson, and John Hawkes.
