The USA Network is bringing back “Miz & Mrs” for another half of a season. The network confirmed that the popular reality series is now scheduled to return for the continuation of its first season on April 2nd. The network previously extended the current season, bringing the total to 20, half-hour episodes. The show has been a runaway hit, but we haven’t head any confirmation yet that the reality show will continue into Season 2.
If you are new to the show, “Miz & Mrs offers viewers an exclusive glimpse into the lifestyle of married WWE Superstars, The Miz and Maryse. The popular duo has traded the Hollywood Hills for a quiet life in Austin, Texas, but they soon discover there’s nothing quiet about a life filled with two dogs, two cats, their new baby, Monroe, a live-in mother-in-law and the demands of their high-octane careers.
The network teased the series stating, “Even though their lives are more chaotic than ever, nothing can slow the “It Family” down. With new mom, Maryse, returning to the ring just months after giving birth and Mike’s career soaring to new heights, The Miz and Maryse continue to prove their outrageous in-ring personalities are no act.”
Fans still have a few more weeks of waiting before “Miz and Mrs” returns to the network, but there is a new teaser trailer to watch.
The series itself is produced by WWE and Bunim/Murray Productions. The show found a home partly in thanks to USA Network’s other WWE programming, including weekly live programming with “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live.”
Gil Goldschein, Farnaz Farjam-Chazan, and Russell Jay serve as Executive Producers for Bunim/Murray Productions, and Kevin Dunn serves as Executive Producer for WWE. The Miz and Maryse are also Executive Producers.
