Ubisoft’s “The Division 2” is ready to enter into the Open Beta testing phase. The game will host the beta starting on March 1st, allowing anyone to join in on the testing and experience the gameplay through March 4th. According to the developers, players will be able to play through three Main Missions, in either solo or co-op modes, or jump into the PVP game mode to test their skills.
You can order the retail version of the game right here on Amazon and have it ready for release day.
The beta will be available for players on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game itself is scheduled to release shortly after the open beta test on March 15th.
If you’re new to the setup, “Tom Clancy’s The Division 2” is a new open-world online shooter, set seven months after a deadly virus was released in New York City. This new installment to the franchise will bring players into Washington D.C. while the world is on the brink of disaster. As veteran Division agents, players are the last hope against the complete fall of society as enemy factions vie for control of the city.
Ubisoft released a first-look trailer for the open beta to get fans excited for the big release. Fans of the franchise can watch that trailer below.
The game itself has already passed through several closed beta tests, and while typical server congestion was experienced on launch day, the feedback on social media has been generally positive. Only a few more weeks before the big spring release of the open world RPG, and if you haven’t picked up EA’s “Anthem,” then you are probably itching to get a new game if you are a fan of the shooter-looter genre.
