HBO Teases 2019 with ‘Game of Thrones,’ and ‘Watchmen’ Clips
So much is coming to HBO in 2019
HBO’s newest teaser trailer is for all the new content coming in 2019, and there is a lot of it. On the slate this year HBO has the “Deadwood” revival movie; the final season of “Game of Thrones;” the premiere season of “Watchmen;” a new season of “Big Little Lies,” the “His Dark Materials” adaptation; and “Euphoria.” Better renew that HBO subscription, there will be a lot to see over the next few months.
That’s not the only content coming to HBO subscribers of course. There will be new episodes of other hit series like “2 Dope Queens,” “Ballers,” “Barry,” “Catherine the Great,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “Los Espookys,” “Mrs. Fletcher,” “Room 104,” “Silicon Valley,” “The Deuce,” “Veep,” and more.
The new teaser offers just a quick glimpse of the new and returning series, just enough to get fans excited for their big return, or their big debuts. New episodes of “Barry” are coming on March 31st, with new episodes of “Game of Thrones” set to debut on April 14th. HBO will premiere “Native Son” with Margaret Qualley, Nick Robinson, and KiKi Layne on April 6th, with “The Case Against Adnan Syed” set to premiere on March 10th.
If you are a fan of “VEEP,” the final season is scheduled to begin on March 31st, with “What’s my Name: Muhammad Ali” scheduled to debut on the network on May 14th. We will have to wait a little bit longer for the premiere dates for “Big Little Lies: Season 2,” “Deadwood,” and “Watchmen,” but BBC did release a teaser trailer today for the “His Dark Materials” adaptation.
You can watch the quick teaser trailer below. The big call-outs from the video are the new “Game of Thrones,” “Watchmen,” and “Deadwood” clips, but we won’t spoil any of them for you.
