‘Twilight Zone’ Reboot Gets an Official Trailer
Step through into the Twilight Zone
CBS has been slowly releasing casting updates and premiere dates for the new “Twilight Zone” reboot for over a year now, but now sci-fi fans can get their first official look at the new series thanks to today’s video. CBS All Access released a first-look trailer for the new show today, offering a glimpse of the all-star cast that will recreate episodes from the show.
“The Twilight Zone” is set to premiere with two episodes on Monday, April 1st. After the series premiere, all of the following episodes will be released on Thursdays beginning April 11th. You will need a CBS All Access subscription to watch the show.
As we reported earlier, Jordan Peele will host and narrate the new Twilight Zone reboot, and additional cast members include Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, James Frain, Ginnifer Goodwin, Zabryna Guevara, Percy Hynes-White, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun.
“The Twilight Zone” is being produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.
The original “The Twilight Zone” first hit the airwaves on CBS in 1959. The series quickly became a pop-culture icon, and used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times. The show ran on CBS for five years between 1959 and 1964. One of the first sci-fi series ever, you can find all of the episodes of the original series available to stream now on CBS All Access.
