Freeform’s Marvel series “Cloak & Dagger” is getting ready to premiere the first episode of Season 2 in April. The popular series released a new trailer this afternoon, teasing the new episodes that are on their way. Fans can set a reminder to catch the big Season 2 premiere on April 4th and watch the official trailer below.

The show is returning with a two-hour premiere episode in the spring. The new season catches up with the heroes as Tyrone and Tandy try to find their place as more active heroes in the world. In the debut season, viewers were introduced to Tandy and Ty as they first began using their powers together. This season, they will discover enhanced powers and will have to decide what kind of heroes they want to be. The duo will take on a heartless vigilante and uncover an evil that’s been preying on the young women of the city. The show follows the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph), two teenagers from very different backgrounds who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers. Not only do they have their own powers, they are also mysteriously linked to one another. Now the only constants in their lives are danger and each other. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to control the power of darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart.

“Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” stars Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Emma Lahana, Gloria Reuben, Andrea Roth and J.D. Evermore. The series is executive produced by showrunner Joe Pokaski (“Underground,” “Marvel’s Daredevil”) and Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s The Punisher,” “Marvel’s Jessica Jones”). It is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios and you can catch the series on Freeform.
