Amazon is stepping up the marketing for the new original series “Hana,” releasing a new ad-spot during the Super Bowl on Sunday night. The series, which is coming to Prime Video, stars Esme Creed-Miles, Mireille Enos, and Joel Kinnaman.
Amazon described the video on YouTube adding “Be the girl no one saw coming,” and you can already preview the first episode.
If you’re not watching the Super Bowl, you can watch the first episode of “Hanna” right here on Amazon Prime. If you are watching the big game, you can add the video to watch list, and the first episode will be available exclusively to Prime members for 24 hours.
As for the entire season, that is scheduled to be released in March. “Hanna” is the latest original for Prime Members, following “Jack Ryan” with John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce, and John Hoogenakker. The series is a mix between a thriller and a coming-of-age drama. The story follows Hanna, a young girl trained in the forest, who is being pursued by a CIA agent that wants to know who she is and who trained her.
On a side note, if you like the song in the trailer below it’s from Karen O, and the song featured is called “Bullet With Butterfly Wings.” Karen O performed the song, though it was originally by the Smashing Pumpkins.
While “Hana” is the new girl on the Prime block, the service has become popular over the last few years with a string of hits. One of the biggest hits on the service is the award-winning “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” which stars Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, and Marin Hinkle. As we mentioned earlier, another hit “Jack Ryan,” as well as “Sneaky Pete.”
