‘Kim Possible’ Music Video Remakes ‘Call Me, Beep Me!’
Set the remix
Disney Channel released a new music video for the network’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Kim Possible,” and fans of the original series can watch it below. Titled “Call Me, Beep Me!” the song is performed by Kim Possible herself, Sadie Stanley. The music offers an updated version of the popular theme song; fans can catch the original movie premiere on February 15th.
The new adaptation is staying true to the original sci-fi action-adventure series. The story follows Kim Possible and her best friend and sidekick Ron Stoppable as they begin Middleton High School where Kim must navigate the ups and downs of becoming a high school freshman.
Kim Possible is ready to tackle the challenge head-on, just as she has with everything else in life, but her confidence is shaken when she faces roadblocks at every turn—getting lost in the confusing hallways, being late to class and facing rejection during soccer tryouts from her frenemy, Bonnie.
Things start to turn around when Kim and Ron meet and befriend Athena, a new classmate and Kim Possible superfan who is having an even worse day than Kim. With Kim’s guidance and friendship, Athena transforms into the newest member of Team Possible. Soon, Athena starts to eclipse Kim just as the nefarious Drakken and Shego resurface in Middleton with a master plan to finally stop Kim. With Drakken and Shego lurking in the wings, Kim must rely on her family and friends more than ever. Now it’s up to Team Possible—Kim, Ron, tech-genius Wade, new friend Athena and Rufus, a Naked mole-rat that Ron meets along the way—to stop these super villains.
Kim Possible superfans can watch the video below, and set a reminder to catch the premiere in February on Disney Channel.
Starring alongside Sadie Stanley, are Sean Giambrone, Todd Stashwick, and Taylor Ortega.
