“The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a new threat: LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.

The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman, and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a galaxy filled with fantastic planets, strange characters and catchy news songs.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, Charlie Day, Maya Rudolph.

The film was directed by Mike Mitchell, working from a screenplay by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller.

Lego Movie 2 Toy kit

The new kit includes Stubble Trouble Emmet and the new character Rex Dangervest. Both characters are shown above with the new spaceship from the movie; the Rexcelsior.

You’ll also see quite a few LEGO raptors, which actor Chris Pratt had no trouble dealing with in the “Jurassic World” franchise.

The new set includes 2 minifigures: Stubble Trouble Emmet and Rex Dangervest, plus Emmet and Rex microfigures and 5 micro raptor dinosaur toy figures (3 metallic, 2 dark blue). The Rexcelsior features boosters, dual microfigure cockpit, detailed microscale interior with various rooms and compartments, opening doors and lift-off roofs, a handle with a trigger to activate the 6-missile spring-loaded shooter, and an ammo storage compartment with 6 extra missiles.

The LEGO company has quite a few kits on sale for “The LEGO Movie 2,” you can find them at participating retailers, or check out all of them right here on Amazon.
