The CW says goodbye to hit series this year

Jane the Vrigin Season 5cw

The CW’s packed Spring scheduled has been announced, including the debut of the network’s new series “In the Dark.” The show will join familiar hits like “The 100,” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” as well as the final season of “iZombie” and “Jane the Virgin.”

It will be hard for fans to say goodbye to “Jane the Virgin,” which has been one of the network’s most popular shows. The hit series will start its final chapter on March 27th, following an all-new episode of “Riverdale” at 8 pm. The show “All American” will end its first season on March 20th.

The new series to watch will be “In the Dark” with Perry Mattfeld. The show will air its first episode on April 4th, following an all-new episode of “Supernatural” at 8 pm. The show “Legacies” will air its season finale on March 28th.

If you’re new to “In the Dark,” the story follows Murphy (Perry Mattfeld) who is a “hard-living, hard-drinking, disaffected twenty-something with a penchant for cigarettes and casual sex” according to the network. Murphy is blind and lives with her supportive best friend, Jess (Brooke Markham) and her guide dog, Pretzel. Murphy’s closest friend is a teenager named Tyson (Thamela Mpumlwana), whom she befriends after he saved her from a violent mugging. Her life comes crashing down when she stumbles upon what she’s sure is the lifeless body of Tyson in the alley outside her apartment. When the police arrive there isn’t a body anywhere, and Murphy isn’t exactly sober. The police aren’t especially inclined to investigate, but Murphy is determined to find the truth.

The series stars Perry Mattfeld, Rich Sommer, Brooke Markham, Casey Diedrick, Keston John, Morgan Krantz, Thamela Mpumlwana, Derek Webster, and Kathleen York.

Another show coming to a close this year is “iZombie,” which will air the first episode of the final season on May 2nd. The show will then be a lead-in for “In the Dark.”

We should also mention that the season finale of “Supernatural” will air on April 25th, since the show is easily one of the most popular series The CW has ever aired.

As for “The 100,” that show is returning for a sixth season which is scheduled to begin on April 30th. “The Flash” will be a lead-in for that airing. The season finale of “Roswell, New Mexico” will air on April 23.

Then we have “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” which is moving to a new time starting on April 1st. The show will be a lead-in for “Arrow” beginning April 15th. The “Black Lightning” season finale is scheduled for March 18th.
