TBS has finally set a date for the fourth season of “Angie Tribeca.” The popular comedy will return to the network this week, and there’s even a trailer to watch for the new episodes.
TBS will host a marathon of episodes from the first three seasons to help fans catch up with Season 4. The weekend marathon will begin on Saturday, December 29th and continue on Sunday, December 30th.
In season four, the story picks up 20 years after the law wrongfully turned on Detective Angie Tribeca (Rashida Jones) and tossed her in jail. Now, Tribeca is out, reunited with her team, Lt. Atkins (Jere Burns), Dr. Scholls (Andrée Vermeulen), estranged son, Angie Jr. (Bobby Cannavale) and the young and brilliant Maria Charo (Kiersey Clemons) once again fighting for the good guys.
If you want to catch the marathon, episodes one through five will run starting at 8pm on Saturday; episodes six through ten will begin at 8pm on Sunday. You can find the show on TBS, or the TBS app. Fans of the show can watch the official Season 4 trailer below.
Rashida Jones has been busy with a lot of voice work over the past year. The actor’s voice will be featured in the new animated comedy series “Duncanville,” which also stars Wiz Khalifa and former “Parks & Recreation” star Amy Poehler. Jones also voiced the role of Marcy Kappe in the animated film “Spies in Disguise,” which also features Karen Gillan, Will Smith, and Tom Holland. Recently Jones voiced Donna Who for “The Grinch,” the holiday film starred Benedict Cumberbatch and Cameron Seely and went on to make over $259M domestically and over $428M worldwide.
Since most network programming is either holiday specials or yearly recaps, TV viewers should be happy to see new episodes coming to TBS over the next few days.
