“Spider-Man” fans on the PS4 are getting some new skins and new DLC to explore. Sony confirmed that a third chapter called “Silver Lining” is set to debut on the console later this month. There’s a lot of content in this new update, and some Spider-Man suits to wear.

The game has already released two chapters, broadening the Spider-Man experience for players and introducing new skins and characters. While it’s exciting to get new DLC, it’s bittersweet since this is expected to be the final installment to the popular game.

The big debut for the DLC will be on December 21, and the story will focus on Silver Sable. The studio even released a DLC trailer to get fans excited for the big release day, you can watch that video below.

In a post on Playstation Blog earlier today Ryan Smith, the Game Director at Insomniac Games, teased the DLC saying “Silver Sable has stormed back to reclaim her stolen Sable International tech. With New York Police Chief Yuri Watanabe on administrative leave following her exploits against Hammerhead, Spider-Man will have to rely on unlikely allies to keep Marvel’s New York safe.”

Players will get new missions, upgraded Hammerhead bases, and new storyline quests. Players can also look forward to new trophies to earn, challenges to beat, and three new Spider-Man suits.

It’s a pretty great time for the DLC to hit the market, since Sony is releasing the highly anticipated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” in theaters on December 14. The company is even holding a special promotion for the film, allowing anyone who pre-orders the “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” movie from the PlayStation Store to receive a voucher for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining dynamic theme, and avatars.

You might also notice that Peter Parker’s suit from the movie is part of the DLC chapter. Pre-orders for the movie will be open tomorrow but you can have the suit on December 21st when the DLC launches.
