Square Enix has launched “Just Cause 4” today, the game is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in a Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition and Gold Edition at participating retailers. The game is the latest installment to the popular franchise, which has become a fan favorite GIF maker by players thanks to the game’s unique physics-based tools and controls. Nothing like tethering a car to a windmill, or flying your car into a pinpoint landing on top of a radar tower for some likes or upvotes on social media.

If you are planning on picking up the game, the “Just Cause 4” Digital Deluxe Edition comes packed with special Black Hand weaponry; including the The Black Hand Stealth Micro Jet and SkyStriker Wingsuit. The Gold Edition includes the Expansion Pass for the game, the Golden Gear Pack, and all of the Digital Deluxe Content.

The story for the game is set in the fictional South American world of Solis. “Just Cause 4” takes the series incredible destruction and unique physics to a whole new level with the introduction of tornadoes and other Extreme Weather events, perfect for streaming to your followers for a few laughs. “Just Cause 4” has four distinct biomes: Rainforest, Grasslands, Alpine, and Desert. With each biome offering its own individual, fully simulated weather event, players will have a truly unique experience as they traverse this deep, diverse world.

Rico Rodriguez returns in to the game with his trademark parachute, wingsuit and, of course his grapple hook, now enhanced with new functionality and fully customisable. The new upgrades make the grapple hook the most powerful and creative tool the character has ever had.

You can find the game in all of its editions on participating retailers, they can also be found right here on Amazon.

The game itself is running on the new Apex engine, which the studio says offers the “most interactive, extreme weather simulations ever seen in a videogame, complimented by incredible visuals, unparalleled physics and endless creative possibilities” for players.
