Hulu has a new an official trailer for “Marvel’s Runaways,” just before the series is set to return with all-new episodes on December 21st. The Season 2 trailer follows the kids as they are on the lam, relying solely on each other to survive.

Filled with magic and powers, the Season 2 trailer introduces a new character, Topher, being played by Jan Luis Castellano. If the series follows the Marvel Comics, Topher is vampire that the runaways run into while hiding from their parents, and eventually fold into their crew. Hulu describes the series on YouTube adding, “Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? Marvel’s Runaways is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents.”

In the first episode of the new season, the kids continue to struggle with their new lives as Runaways, but find a hideout that seems to keep them safe. Alex goes to work for Darius while PRIDE plots to kill Jonah, who is planning to build a new box. Fans of the series can watch the official Season 2 trailer below, thanks to a quick upload from Hulu earlier today.

“Marvel’s Runaways” stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue, and Julian McMahon.

The series will hit Hulu right before the holidays, right when network’s usually take a break from their regular series and start playing holiday specials and re-runs. The new episodes will give you something to stream over the winter break, so set a reminder to watch them later next month.
